Nagpal’s, a name today with every Chole Bhature, traces its humble beginnings to 1990’s by our founder Late. Sh. Vasudev Nagpal. The operations started out as a small outlet at Amar colony. The shop initially sold a few plates of Chole Bhature tuned to tastes of Nagpal’s. Later on he along with his brother opened other outlets in Ashok Vihar, PH-1 (2001) and Lawrence Road (2002).
Soon, millions of foodies fell in love with our delicacy, making it the most well-known brand of Chole Bhature.
Sh. Vasudev Nagpal left behind a legacy –OUR SECRET BLEND OF SPICES, which makes our Chole Bhature superior and authentic in comparison to others.
At present, his younger brother Shri Devanand Nagpal is committed to taking the family business forward with the help of his children.
“1. This place serves the best Choley bhaturey. A Lot of people are not aware that they also serve poori, which is a premium item and gets sold out quickly. Even the bhature is loaded with paneer and is delicious.
“2. This eatery sells many food items, but its fame is mainly for chhole bhature. Other dishes like rajma chawl, palak paneer, and lassi are also excellent, which explains the perpetual crowd in the shop. Many office and institutional establishments in the vicinity get their food from here on special occasions like festivals, parties, fetes, etc. If you want to taste a good Delhi snack, particularly chhole bhature, then you cannot miss this place. Bhature's are very soft, and you will find a lot of fine pieces of paneer and spices. Accompanying items like chhole, pickle, and masala mirchi are excellent, and they allow refills of these without extra cost. After this, you should have a glass of lassi to wash down the sin of the oily meal that you just gobbled at high speed.
“3. MUST VISIT if you are in or near Lajpat Nagar. Delicious Chole Bhature, Rajma chawal, and flavorful lassi are their specialties. You can also dine-in here. There is a takeaway service available. Vegetarian options: Pure vegetarian food is served.
“4. I have been coming to these for the past 9-10 years, like once a month. It's a good place to start your Sunday mornings with hot Chole Bhature; the taste hasn't changed a bit, which is a good sign. In the afternoon, you can get chole and Rajma chawal, and in the evening, you can get samosas and kachori. These are small places where you can keep the plate and enjoy them. Good and hygienic place.
